Blue Shade Under the Arbor
Every good garden has one cool, blue corner where you go to sit when the afternoon gets hot. This design is that corner, painted in the washes of a watercolour sketchbook.
The print
A white trellis arch rises through the middle of the square, framed by tall delphinium spires and billowing hydrangea heads in cornflower, periwinkle and lilac. Scattered petals drift across a mid-blue border, which makes a lovely band of colour when the scarf is folded and tied.

Care
Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent and do not wring. Lay flat to dry, then iron on the reverse at a cool setting.
