The fabric
Satin, and proud of it
We chose polyester satin on purpose. It takes a print with real depth of colour, drapes softly at the neck, and comes out of a basin of cold water looking just as it went in.
It has the smooth hand and soft fall of a silk square, without the dry-cleaning bill or the worry. That makes it the scarf you actually reach for.
How to wear it
Three knots worth knowing
One square, a few folds, and it becomes a neckerchief, a head scarf or a bright flag on your handbag. Our tying guide has six in full.
At the neck
Fold into a band, loop it round and tie one loose knot just off-centre.
In the hair
Fold a triangle, lay it over your hair and knot it at the nape of your neck.
On a bag
Fold it slim, knot at the base of the handle, wrap it up and tie it off.
