Late summer belongs to the dahlias, the flower that saves its best display for the end of the season. We painted ours at full size and full colour, for the months when you want warmth around your neck.
The print
Great rust, marigold, plum and blush dahlias crowd a deep forest-green ground with chrysanthemums tucked between them, richly painted with visible brushwork. An ochre-gold border edged in rust frames the square and looks especially good against camel, brown and black.

Care
Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent and do not wring. Lay flat to dry, then iron on the reverse at a cool setting.
