Terms of Service

The rules that apply when you browse or buy from Linnetgrove. We have kept the language plain where we could, but this is still a binding agreement, so it deserves an unhurried read.

01Scope of this agreement

This agreement governs your visits to the Linnetgrove online shop and every purchase made through it. Placing an order, or simply using the shop, signals that you accept it. Should any part feel unacceptable to you, please hold off on ordering.

02Who runs the shop

Linnetgrove is operated by BLF TECHNOLOGY COMPANY LIMITED (referred to here as "Linnetgrove", "we" or "us"). The registered address is printed in the masthead at the bottom of this page. Questions reach us at info@linnetgrove.com, and our customer service email is available 24/7.

03Age and capacity

Orders may be placed only by adults: at least 18, or the age of majority in your home country if that is higher. A younger person is welcome to look around, though a parent or guardian must complete any checkout and accept these terms on their behalf.

04Customer accounts

A guest checkout is always available. Should you register an account, keep the details you give us accurate and your password private. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has accessed it. Activity carried out under your login is treated as yours.

05Our scarves and how they look

Each design is printed on one square satin scarf of about 35 x 35 inches (90 x 90 cm), made from 100% polyester satin with a smooth, silk-like hand. It is not silk. We photograph and describe every print as faithfully as possible, yet screens differ, and a printed textile can read a touch warmer, cooler, brighter or softer in person. Small shifts of pattern placement at the hem are part of edge-to-edge printing and are not defects.

06Prices and currency

Prices are listed in US dollars; each scarf is currently $54.99. Taxes and shipping are calculated at checkout and shown before you pay. Prices on the site may move over time; an order we have already confirmed keeps the price you paid. When a price is shown wrongly because of a clear mistake, we will contact you and let you choose to go ahead at the correct figure or cancel for a full refund.

07Placing an order and acceptance

Submitting your order is an offer to buy. We send an automatic acknowledgement straight away; the contract between us is formed when we dispatch your parcel and email the tracking details. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if an item has sold out, if the payment cannot be verified, or if we suspect fraud. Any money taken for an order we cancel is refunded in full.

08Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify's hosted payment system and the card networks and wallet providers it supports. Card details are handled by those processors and never pass through our hands. By paying, you confirm you are entitled to use the payment method you choose.

09Delivery, title and risk

Our Shipping Policy sets out rates, processing times and delivery estimates. Ownership and risk of loss pass to you once the parcel is delivered to the address you provided. Delivery times are good-faith estimates rather than guarantees, although we will always help chase a late parcel. Import duties or taxes on international orders are payable by the recipient.

10Returns and refunds

Returns are covered by our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of this agreement. In brief, you have 30 days from delivery, change of mind is welcome, and nothing is deducted for restocking. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

11Intellectual property and our name

Every print, photograph, text passage, layout and graphic on this site belongs to BLF TECHNOLOGY COMPANY LIMITED or its licensors and is protected by copyright and related laws. Please do not reproduce, resell or adapt it without written permission. Linnetgrove is a trademark owned and operated by BLF TECHNOLOGY COMPANY LIMITED. Nothing here grants you any right to use the Linnetgrove name or visual identity.

12Fair use of the site

When using the shop, please do not break the law, interfere with the site's operation or security, scrape or harvest content by automated means, place orders under a false identity, or post anything misleading or abusive. We may suspend access for anyone who does.

13Links to other sites

We sometimes link to outside websites, such as a carrier's tracking page. Those sites are run by others; we do not control their content or their privacy practices and are not responsible for them.

14Disclaimers

Apart from the promises made in this agreement and the rights consumer law gives you, the site and its content are provided as they are. We work to keep product information current and accurate, but we cannot promise the site will be free of every error or always available without interruption.

15Limits on liability

As far as the law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, business or data, arising from your use of the site or our products. Our total liability relating to any order is capped at the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in this clause shrinks our responsibility where the law forbids it, such as for fraud, or for death or injury that our negligence causes.

16Indemnity

If you breach this agreement or misuse the site, you agree to compensate BLF TECHNOLOGY COMPANY LIMITED for reasonable losses, claims and costs (including legal fees) that result, to the extent the law allows.

17Governing law and disputes

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and its courts will hear any dispute. If you live elsewhere, you keep the protection of any mandatory consumer laws of your own country. Most issues are best resolved by an email to us first, and we will always try that route.

18Updates to these terms

We may revise this agreement from time to time and will change the date at the top when we do. The version shown when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.

19Severability and whole agreement

Should a court find any clause unenforceable, the remaining clauses still apply. This agreement, with the policies it links to, is the entire understanding between you and us about your use of the shop and replaces anything said before. If we choose not to enforce a clause on one occasion, we have not given up the right to do so later.
